Paying rent by credit card usually results in large fees that will offset the value of the prize earned.

However, with the Bilt Mastercard®, you have several options to pay your rental with the card without paying additional transaction fees. And every month, cardholders can take advantage of exclusive perks as part of the ongoing Bilt Rent Day promotion.

For April Rent Day, Bilt credit cardholders and Bilt Rewards Alliance members can receive complimentary World of Hyatt elite status, earn double points for non-rental purchases and participate in several exclusive events and offers, along with the chance to win a free month of rental.

Bilt Rent Day occurs on the first of every month and is available to all Bilt Rewards and Bilt Mastercard members® card holder. There are some standard perks offered each month, such as the ability to earn double points on certain purchases, as well as some occasional perks. No additional registration is required to participate.

For Bilt Rent Day April 2023, cardholders have the unique opportunity to accelerate to World of Hyatt elite status and participate in a number of online and in-person events and offers, including buy-one-get-one SoulCycle rides and the chance to win Bilt points or rent one. month.

Unlock World of Hyatt elite status

From March 28 to April 1, 2023, Bilt members can register to receive free World of Hyatt Explorist status for 90 days. After registration, you have the opportunity to maintain Explorer status or upgrade to top-level Globalist status until February 2025.

Explorer status benefits range from 2pm check-out to room upgrades and 20% bonus points on stays. Meanwhile, Globalis status is often considered the gold standard of a hotel’s elite status, including upgrades to a suite, free full breakfast, 4 p.m. check-out and more.

To be eligible for this offer, you must join the World of Hyatt program and link your Bilt Rewards and World of Hyatt accounts in the Bilt app (under the Travel tab). You will receive confirmation of registration by April 17th and can enjoy Explorer benefits until July 16th, 2023.

To extend Hyatt Explorist status, you must stay 10 qualifying nights between April 17 and July 16, 2023. If you stay 20 qualifying nights during the same period, you will earn Hyatt Globalist status through February 2025.

Typically, Explorer status is earned after 30 nights or 50,000 base points ($10,000 spending) and Globalist status is earned after 60 nights or 100,000 base points ($20,000 spending).

Double point earning

On the first day of every month, Bilt Mastercard holders earn double points for all non-rental purchases. Cardholders can earn up to 10,000 bonus points from 12:00 PM ET to 11:59 PM PT on April 1.

Bonus earnings for the day will be:

  • 6X points for dining (usually 3X)
  • 4X points on the way (usually 2X)
  • 2X points on all other non-rental purchases (usually 1X)

The high earning rate is quite favorable, making the Bilt card a better choice to use than travel cards such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card or the American Express® Gold Card when shopping on the first day of the month. Terms Apply.

Keep in mind that you must use your Bilt Mastercard at least five times per billing period to be eligible for this bonus.

SoulCycle buy-one-get-one offer

Bilt members can book SoulCycle classes and get free guest rides. Bilt will also pay one month’s rent for one random rider and their guests. Classes can be booked through Soul-Cycle.com, through the SoulCycle app or directly through the Bilt Rewards app.

Bilt also holds several other promotions and events during Rent Day in April.

  • Rent Day Challenge: Three winners will get a month’s rent paid by Bilt (up to $2,500). To enter to win, you must solve the puzzle in the Bilt app by April 1st and submit your answer here. The winner will be chosen at random and the contest is open to non-Bilt members.
  • Point Quest trivia: On April 1st, you can log into the Bilt app and play Point Quest trivia. There will be five questions and you will get 50 points for each correct answer. If you answer all five questions correctly, you will receive a bonus question for a chance to earn an additional 100 points.
  • Hyatt exclusive social events: On April 1, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, there will be members-only Bilt social events at the Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country, the Grayson Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, and the Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta. At this event, members will receive $10 off their tab, be able to socialize with Bilt staff members and have the chance to win Bilt points.
