Maire Tecnimont announces new risk & insurance head

Carlo Cosimi is the new head of risk and insurance group at Maire Tecnimont, having been appointed to the position in February.

The position includes reviewing risks & opportunities at group level with integrated management of ERM, project risk management and risk transfer processes.

He will continue to be executive chairman and president of ANRA, the Italian Association of Risk Managers and Insurance Managers, which he appointed in April 2021. ANRA is part of FERMA (European Federation of Risk Managers).

Cosimi was previously head of corporate insurance & risk financing at Saipem from October 2016 to January 2023, where he oversaw Saipem’s insurance policy definitions and related guidelines, methodologies, tools, operating processes and standard contracts, guaranteeing worldwide steering and underwriting process coordination over the subsidiary.
