Teen Charged With Credit Card Theft at Fergus

A 17-year-old is facing multiple charges following two vehicle breaks and entry in December.

Wellington County OPP said on December 9, two vehicles in the Fergus area were broken into and credit cards and personal identification were stolen.

The credit card has been used to make purchases at a business in Guelph.

Officers managed to obtain surveillance footage from the person concerned and the vehicle allegedly involved.

A 17 year old child from Kitchener has been charged with:

· Under $5,000 Theft

· Damage Under $5,000

· Credit Card Theft

· Use of Credit Cards

· Possession of Criminally Obtained Property Under $5,000

The accused will appear in court in Guelph at a later date.
